Greetings From Jesus

What is this? Greetings From Jesus is a line of greeting cards from the risen Son to mankind. Some greetings are directed at non-believers while other greetings are more specifically aimed at Christians.

Why send a card from Christ? Mainly because it's funny. Also because it's nice to see Jesus portrayed in a fun, positive light without judgement or dire seriousness.

How do I know what Jesus wants to say? We can all know what Jesus wants to say. We have quotes from Him. He left us a manual. It reveals His character and tells what He's thinking. So, we can all presume to know what Jesus has to say. It's just nice to see it on a greeting card.

Why are these cards funny? Because Christ had a lighter side. He was Jewish, for crying out loud. He turned water into wine to keep a wedding party hopping. He encouraged Peter to walk on water (that had to have been fun). He loved being around children. Too often we forget that about Him. We can and should celebrate His joy. After all, "God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise" (I Corinthians 1:27).

Is this a joke? The cards are funny but the intent is real. There are scripture quotes on the back of every card to show the inspiration for the humor. And I, like Sarah in Genesis 21:6, want to share my joy: "God has made me laugh and all who hear will laugh with me."
